April Bowlby

April Bowlby has been an American actor as well as model for a period of more than 20 years. She was known as Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy Series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby has a long history in American acting. The most memorable parts include Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva (a legal comedy/fantasy TV show), and Kandi, in Two and a Half Men. After starting her career as a model, she then moved to the world of film and television. The first time she appeared was on small screen as an actor in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It then led to appearances in individual episodes of other series. Soon, she landed the part as Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby's character in the role of Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her international recognition. Bowlby played the role as Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American web-based show Titans. In the spin-off of Doom Patrol, she will reprise the role. Bowlby has also appeared in TV film Sands of Oblivion & The Wrong Daughter. Her big screen debut was in All Roads Lead Home. Later, she was in films such as The Slammin Salmon, and From Prada To Nada. Bowlby relocated to Manteca California as a child and went to East Union High School. She was a ballet student as well as French at Moorpark College before deciding to pursue an acting career. She studied Drama with Ivana Chobbuck. She landed a major role in an upcoming TV show (Kandi from Two and a Half Men) just a few months from her Hollywood audition. Bowlby has appeared on a number of TV series, including CSI in 2004. CSI: NY and CSI: NY in 2005. She also appeared on Freddie on the 2005 season as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 as Meg. Bowlby recently took the role in the role of Natasha as a twelve year old girl in All Roads Lead Home. The 2007 movie revolves around a little girl who lost her mother following an accident in the car. Bowlby is starring in the 2008 comedic movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. She resides Los Angeles. She is a redhead with blue eyes. Her relationship is not a family affair.
