Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress, musician and playback vocalist on Tamil films and Malayalam film. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam and Tamil debut. Her debut was in Tamil in the film with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah comes from an Anglo-Indian family background. She was born to an Madras High Court attorney. She has an older sister living and working in Leuven Belgium in the role of Research Assistant. Jeremiah grew up close to Chennai she was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Jeremiah has stated that she was quite a enthusiast and wanted to be psychiatrist when she passed her 12th board exams.Andrea began studying classical piano at the age of eight. In her twenties, she became a part of a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the basis of her first musical and singing career. She performed as performer in her college in various shows organized through The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea was president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her acting career as an infant performer in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. In 2006, she starred in a brand new advertisement for Leo alongside actor Shiva. She also acted as a character in Podhigai's series. She has performed roles in India. She played a minor role for the Kanda Mudhal final (2005).
