Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Initiated by her observations of shadows on the ground The artist took months perfecting a technique that allows objects to be represented with two dimensions onto canvas. The selected subject is transformed into a representation of the subject. This happens especially when using living items as well as those that are likely to perish, such as fruit or even humans. Alexa Meade's paintings are ephemeral, but the photo is what remains. Both the painting and photographic techniques are so closely coordinated and result in an unflat, 2-dimensional space, which achieves trompe l'oeil, wherein the third dimension is discernible only in certain areas, such as near the eyes or in hair. Meade frequently blends her painted characters within the three-dimensional space surrounding her. They can interact in the world she has created for herself. In this way, she blurs the lines between photography, painting performance and installation.
